Home & focus mode

Home is Tome's landing tab. It has two personalities — a dashboard that summarises your reading life, and a minimalist focus view for when you just want to keep reading. Toggle between them from the Home header; your choice is remembered.

Reading time

Focus mode

Focus surfaces the one book you're most likely to pick up next — your most-recently-synced in-progress title — as a large cover with the upcoming volumes of its series fanned behind it. Alongside: the series and your place in it, reading progress, where you last synced from, and a one-click Resume reading. The quiet Currently reading strip underneath switches the spotlight to any other in-progress book; clicking the cover or the series name jumps to the series page.

The dashboard

The dashboard is the fuller Home: reading streak, recent activity, currently-reading shelf, goals, and a right-hand rail of at-a-glance cards. It's the same data that powers Reading stats, distilled to a landing page.

Reading DNA

The rail's Reading DNA card distils your habits into a reading personality — an archetype like Night-Owl Epic Specialist, derived from a few traits: when you read, how long your sessions run, how consistently you show up, and how widely you range across the library. Each trait renders as a spectrum, so you can see why you got the archetype. The same card is available as a tile on the Stats page (add it from Add tile under Habits); the card's Full breakdown link takes you there.

Upcoming releases

If you follow series (see Wishlist), the rail also shows the next volumes with known release dates — soonest first.

On this day

A rail card resurfaces a highlight you made on this day in a previous month or year — a small daily nudge from your own commonplace book.
